 This school has provided me with exactly what I was looking for, a smooth, well-structured path to obtaining a NJ home inspection license. The instructor Joe is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job teaching both in the classroom, and out in the field (mentorship program). I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a NJ home inspector.

 The Home Inspection School of NJ exceeded all of my expectations. When I was looking for a school to connect with to begin my path toward becoming a licensed home inspector, I considered several options. However, after meeting with Joe and Chanin, I knew that this was the right school for me. Anyone who has pursued higher education, knows that the right teacher makes all the difference in the world. Joe teaches from real-world first hand experience having performed several thousand home inspections. In class, he translates his experience into meaningful lessons which help accomplish two goals.....help his student learn and help his students prepare/pass the state exam (I passed my first time taking it). I cannot imagine having gone through the education portion of this process with anyone else. I strongly suggest that anyone looking to pursue a career in home inspections look into The Home Inspection School of NJ! You'll be happy you did.

Joe and Chanin have been in the business for a long time and have a ton of knowledge to help navigate. Joe is an excellent teacher with a depth of knowledge in every aspect of buildings and property! I had a great time in the 10 week home inspection class. Though I thought the later classes would affect me in my fulltime job, it did quite the opposite since they were interesting and I applied what I was learning on a daily basis. If you are on the fence, you will not regret signing up and going through with the class! You’ll be in good hands!! I reach out to Joe from time to time with questions about odd things I come across and he always has an answer for me and points me in the right direction! Quality people!

Just WOW!! Where do I begin. If you are looking for a new career and maybe you just want to venture into a booming industry of being a Licensed Home Inspector look no further than "The Home Inspection School Of NJ in Mount Laurel. This school is amazing. Mr. Joe Coyle and his Wife Chanin are just amazing people. Joe who is the instructor has been inspecting for over 11 years with over 3000 inspections under his belt and he knows how to bring his knowledge to the students. He makes learning the home inspection industry fun and easy to learn. Coming from the industry as a full time Realtor I never thought I would become a home inspector. Learning from Joe was an unbelievable experience.  Chanin Coyle is amazing.  Chanin was the first person I met when I enrolled into this school and she made the whole process seamless. Every time I needed something she was always there either in person or by phone. She is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and can help you be successful. Joe and Chanin are an amazing team. This was the best decision I made when it came to my career and I'm sure it will be yours as well.

The Home Inspection School of New Jersey was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about what Chanin and Joe did for me in and out of school. You will not find a better school in the country and I’ve done my research. Joe is an extremely thorough instructor with years of experience which he is eager to share with his students. Chanin is there to make sure you are thoroughly prepared to be as successful as possible once you start your business ventures. Combined they are just awesome, like I truly love these people. If you are truly serious about home inspections, this is the school for you.

The Home Inspection School of New Jersey has an excellent program. Let me start off by saying I’m active duty military for over 16 years, been through countless military driven trade trainings, this program is one of the most well put together classes I’ve sat through from start to finish. Joe is a journeyman of the home inspection trade and a craftsman in many other trades to support his knowledge beyond even the scope of inspections. The Chief of Operations/office manager Chanin keeps the enrollment process seamless and is the driver behind the wheel keeping the course running like a well oiled machine. Joe and Chanin were great accommodating schedules, with students working full time throughout the course. This is a time intensive course that takes dedication, but I guarantee the owners are giving 100% dedication to the students on their end. The course does come with a little bit higher of a price tag then some schools in NJ, but you are paying for what you get. I graduated confident to seamlessly enter into this trade and start an LLC with the knowledge to be successful. I gained Joe as a mentor, knowing even after graduating, I can reach out if I have questions and he’s happy to help. The only negative I’ve encountered is the 40 hours of on the job training that is completed after the 140 hours of class time, inherently has limited availability based off Joes home inspection schedule and how many students are in the queue trying to get the 40 hours done. They are doing everything they can to combat this and support the students needs including taking additional mentors in to the schedule and when possible taking weekend and evening inspections just to help students who have full time jobs out. The facts are I graduated with a trade that can support my family for a lifetime and I passed the home inspector exam with little studying after sitting through the 140 course. Joe’s method of training and his willingness to pass on his knowledge knowing his students will very likely be a sort of business competition down the road shows his drive for training and building a network of inspectors. I recommend this program to anyone who’s willing to give the school 100% effort, because Chanin and Joe are going to give you 100%.

 Great Home Inspection school and worth every penny. Both Joe and Chanin go above and beyond for all their students. I learned so much during both the classroom and field training they provide, and my confidence has grown immensely since I started with them. Joe really makes the learning fun and never dull/boring. As they made clear on the first day of class, “When you join our school, you become part of our family for life”. In other words, the learning and mentoring doesn’t stop just because I finished the school. I know both Joe and Chanin will be there to help me in any way they can down the line as I start my own inspection company. 5 stars and highly recommend.

After weighing my other options in the area I chose to enroll in The Home Inspection School of New Jersey (THISNJ) and I could not be happier with my decision. Chanin and Joe go above and beyond for each and every one of their students. They take you from Chapter 1 all the way to how to answer phone calls and book your first inspection. They excel at making you feel welcome, prepared and comfortable with the material. They offer up their personal time if you need additional help with a subject or just want to get a quick review in before a test. If you are looking to become a home inspector (whether you have previous experience or have never picked up a hammer) this is the school for you!

If you're looking for a school to teach you about the home inspection profession look no further. As a teacher myself I appreciate a well laid out curriculum and good resources, this school has both (in a time when many schools have neither). The atmosphere of this school is very comfortable. Class sizes are kept small so you don't feel weird asking questions....and trust me you'll have questions. This is a lot of material to cover in the time allotted, but Joe is knowledgeable and explains things in a way that make it easy to understand. Chanin and Joe also help you with the logistics of how to setup your tests and mentoring hours for licensure, you don't feel like you are left to just fend for yourself even after the classes have concluded. There are many home inspection schools in Nj, but none quite like this one.

After losing my job this year I decided it was time for a career change and decided to go into the field of Home Inspections. After alot of research into Home Inspection training throughout NJ , I found The Home Inspection School of NJ.  After making several phone calls, and comparing what all the schools had to offer, I decided to attend the fall semester. I am glad I did. The class size is perfect, the curriculum is well laid out, and they supply you with all the materials needed to be successful. ( All the other schools I looked into were class instruction only, no materials or books, no ongoing support ). Joe was a great instructor, and really knows his stuff. He is very knowledgeable with the material, and answers all your questions. They not only teach you what you need to know to be successful in obtaining your license, but also prepare you with all the information on how to start your business, how to use the report writing software programs, how to obtain additional licenses, report writing skills, test preparation.... the list goes on and on. As far as the administrative side, Chanin is exceptional. She answered all my questions and provided constant support and information when I needed it.  Not only was it a great decision and experience for me, they have a passion for what they do and it shows every time you step into the classroom. If you are looking for a Home Inspection school in NJ, look no further. I really enjoyed the course and feel I am totally prepared to meet my goals in the future and highly recommend them for all your inspection training and needs.

As an individual who was changing careers  I wanted to make sure that I was very diligent and smart in my decision-making process when choosing a home inspection school.  From day one of the course, I was supplied with all of the necessary materials, such as a stack of informative texts, to help me to be successful in the class. After just a few short weeks, Joe and my fellow classmates came to feel like family to me.  It was a small group, which was optimal for personalized learning. Joe covered countless topics pertaining to the home inspection process, but did so in a straightforward and easy-to-understand manner, citing personal experiences, stories, and tips along the way. We shared a lot of laughs through the semester, making the long 3- to 7-hour classes much more bearable and enjoyable. He never hesitated to answer my many questions, and more importantly, never made me feel uncomfortable when I asked them.  In addition to a plethora of information in the course, Joe also helped us to prepare for our careers with practical applications, such as introducing us to a home inspection software program and showing us the ropes by having us dive into the field, shadowing Joe on his jobs.  In fact, from my first experience  in my home inspection mentorship with Joe, he had me inspect multiple facets of homes and draw up sample home inspection reports. This really allowed me to get hands-on training, which is invaluable towards learning the ropes of the field.  I truly believe that my education in the class and the mentoring experience will enable me to pass my state licensing exam, open my own home inspection business, and most importantly, excel in the field, as a knowledgeable and reputable inspector. If I have any uncertainties in my future endeavors, or if I hit any roadblocks, I have no doubt that Joe would gladly help me through them or answer any questions that I have.  Joe is the kind of guy who will bend over backwards to help you succeed.  I am so glad that I made the decision to enroll in the Home Inspection School of New Jersey.  I would highly recommend this program to any aspiring home inspector.

This school was amazing! Learned much from Joe. He is extremely knowledgeable about most things and if he doesn't he will ho out of his way to help younfind out. Chanin is also amazing and will help you out at any given moment. Can't wait to hit of the refresher courses in Januar
